Wow, it’s been another crazy year and I’m so looking forward
to a good 2014! One of the things I want
to do better this year is to keep up with my blog and to try new plant base
recipes and post them here.
Today I will be making a pork tenderloin for my family and
then I’ll make the sweet and sour cabbage and potatoes too to go with it which
I will eat. I will also make my own
gravy. I can’t mess with the good luck
it’s supposed to bring for the coming year! I will go to the grocery store and get some other yummy veggies to go with the meal.
But since I already posted that meal last year. I will post one of my new favorites which I
can’t believe I don’t make more often. I think it would be delicious with some added steamed broccoli!
Quicky Pasta Alfredo
Leftover pasta
Margarine
Flour
Coconut milk creamer
Nutritional yeast
Salt & Pepper
I just took some margarine in a saucepan (probably about 1
tablespoon) and then whisked in some flour (probably about a little less than a
tablespoon) and slowly added some of the creamer. Then I sprinkled in some nutritional yeast
and salt and pepper to taste. Fresh ground pepper is the best. Then I added
the cooked pasta and stirred until heated.
OMG – so good and so easy with leftover pasta! I will also be trying it with almond milk!
Today I bought this –
Yup, a pressure cooker.
I am loving the thought of making my own beans and cooking quicker. So, there will definitely be some posts on my
experiments with it too!
Amazon Prime won't have it to me until Monday though. The super quickie Christmas delivery is now over. I still love the Prime anyway! It's almost as quick as their drones coming out! LOL I think I ordered something and it was delivered in less than 24 hours! I can just say wow!
