Creamed spinach is one of my favorite side dishes and it’s
really pretty easy to make too.
Creamed
Spinach
1 tablespoon Earth Balance margarin
1 tablespoon flour
1 cup almond milk (or any other non-dairy milk)
A few big handfuls of fresh spinach
ground nutmeg to taste
Melt the margarine and whisk in the flour. Cook for one minute. Slowly add the almond milk and continue to
whisk/stir over medium heat. Add the spinach
and stir to coat the sauce. The spinach
will cook way down. Add salt and pepper
to taste or a few sprinkles of ground nutmeg.
