Vegan MoFo 2016 Day 25 - Vegan "Chicken" Gravy

Hey MoFo Friends!  Happy Day 25!  And Happy Day After Thanksgiving!  The slower cooker stuffing was a hit!  And it was vegan and no one even knew.  Ha, ha.  As with the mashed potatoes!  LOL  So, today I’m having a quick version of “chicken” gravy over the leftover stuffing and mashed potatoes.  YUM!



Vegan “Chicken” Gravy

2 Tablespoons Earth Balance margarine
2 Tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon No Chicken Base Better Than Bouillon
1 ½ cups of water
A few shakes of soy sauce

Melt the margarine in a sauce pan.  Whisk in the flour and then add the no chicken base better than bouillon.  Slowly add the water into this mixture.  I added a few shakes of soy sauce to make it not so yellow and enrich the flavor.
